A repair to a cracked or missing glass screen could be the difference between your laptop and a brand new one, says a Google employee.
The tech giant is looking for a contractor to help repair a faulty screen on a Mac laptop, according to an email sent to customers on Tuesday.
The employee who received the email says the repair should take place within 30 days.
A Google spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Google has been plagued with problems with its Android mobile operating system and has had to pull Android apps from its Google Play store, as well as remove some Google Chrome apps.
Google’s Glass headset was also recently pulled from its Android and iOS app stores.
The company has since begun offering refunds to users.
