The owner of a home in Akron, Ohio, found a refrigerator won’t turn on after a week of being unplugged and disconnected.
According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the owner called the company to complain about the fridge’s ability to start, and the appliance repair company they worked for replied that the refrigerator was already turning on.
According the report, the refrigerator wasn’t connected to the internet, and no power had been restored to it.
When the owner tried to connect it to a power outlet, the cable had disconnected itself, and there was no way to turn the appliance back on.
A spokesperson for the Akron appliance repair firm said the refrigerator’s problem was caused by a faulty cable.
They sent out a repair kit with instructions on how to reconnect the appliance, but the owner said that he didn’t need to do that.
